What is AmazeApp?

We are a new and exciting platform that allows you to enjoy an amazing dining experience with a private chef in the comfort of your home! Our vision has always been to allow our chefs to develop their passion outside the commercial kitchen, and to share their skills with you. They will take you on a culinary journey with them, sharing their passion on a plate… This is AmazeApp!

How does AmazeApp work?

AmazeApp allows you to enjoy the experience of having your own private chef. As a guest, you simply fill in the details of your dream event and we will match you with the most qualified chef available. Once you are happy with the chef we have found, you can reserve the experience and the chef will take care of the rest.

Do I have to pay for the service?

No you don’t!! At AmazeApp you are welcome to sign up and use the platform completely free of charge. We only earn a commission on each confirmed booking that we receive.

Who can be a chef?

Anyone with the appropriate experience and skills can become a chef on our platform. We endeavour to offer our clients a range of chefs so that we can meet all expectations.

How much will I get paid?

The amount we pay varies between events, depending on a number of factors as well as your level of experience. Prices per booking can vary between $300 and $500. Our more experienced chefs may earn up to $800 per booking. We will also reimburse you for food costs and travel expenses for lengthy trips. You may also receive tips from our clients, which is a pleasant bonus.

How can I communicate with my guests?

We will initiate a conversation with guests. Once the reservation is confirmed, contact information will be exchanged in order to finalize any remaining details. It is imperative to note that all guests that book through this platform remain clients of AmazeApp. If chefs book future events with said clients outside the platform that will be a breach of our terms and conditions and will result in termination of the platform. Legal action may also be taken.

What happens if I don’t show up for my experience?

We take our responsibility towards our guests very seriously. AmazeApp bases its values on the mutual confidence between customers and chefs, that’s why we provide the tools of communication between both parties! We understand if something unexpected happens, but please never fail to communicate it beforehand. A chef who fails to deliver a service, without a valid excuse, will have their account permanently deactivated.

Do I have to pay tax on my earnings?

All our chefs should comply with their local tax regulations. Please consult your financial advisor for any tax obligations applicable to you.

Chefs with all kinds of backgrounds, experience, specialties, and services can be found on AmazeApp! We always have chefs available for you – there is someone for every taste. It is up to you to decide who is your perfect match based on the profile and conversation you have with each chef.

Whether it is a dinner between friends, a romantic night in, or a family reunion, this experience is sure to exceed your expectations. Win the title of “the best host” while getting pampered and spoiled! Shopping, cooking, setting the table and cleaning-up afterwards are all taken care of for you.

How can I hire a chef through AmazeApp?

When you arrive on our site you will encounter a big “get started” button. This will be the beginning of your journey towards personalizing your Private Chef experience! We will endeavour to understand your needs and develop the most successful event possible. Once you have provided all the relevant information, we will find you an appropriate chef and that’s it. Sit back and let us (and your chef) do the rest. 

Just so you know, we will share your contact information with the chef as soon as you confirm a booking so that you both can stay in touch! In the meantime, we will hold the payment to the chef until the experience is over with the intention of protecting you from any last-minute cancellation or misunderstanding.

 

What happens if the chef cancels my booking?

It is very unlikely for this to happen, but in case it does, don’t worry! We will either refund you fully, or help you find a new chef and menu similar to the one you originally requested – as you prefer.
